Amazing Architecture of Abu Dhabi Mirage Hotel by KA3 Design Group

Abu Dhabi Mirage Hotel is located in Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The main design idea of the hotel was to create an illusion of a dolphin couple swimming in a mirage, therefore the form of dolphins was applied as the mass motif. This luxury hotel architecture is mainly divided into three buildings, the residential hotel, the marina hotel, and the Berthage and marina club. As a reason for safety, the floating suites will be installed with an automatic system that will keep the suites within safe distance from the beach. The design of this amazing architectural project was made by Korean architect Changki Yun of the KA3 Design Group.

One aim of the nCycle concept was to provide a more affordable alternative to the average e-bike, which the designers say can be priced from $4,000, making it an unaccessible option for many. The core design is a sturdy structure: the body was built from a pair of metallic sheets attached parallel to each other from which the primary mechanics house electronic and electrical systems. The nCycle’s truly innovative appearance makes it look as though it could easily zoom off into the future.

Numbrella Umbrella

Numbrella Umbrella

Just because it works doesn’t mean it’s pretty. Sometimes products are designed without questioning their actual target audience. Sure it rains all over the world, and yes, we all need umbrellas, and true, it would be nice to have our hands free – to talk on our cell phones and ride our bikes, but as the saying still holds, fashion before function people.

The Nubrella is the first hands-free umbrella and sits on shoulder straps to keep the top from pressing onto your head, and a strap in front that keeps it from blowing off. It is totally windproof and looks a bit like your own personal space bubble. People may laugh at first, but this invention may actually take off.
